I'm a retired 3rd grade teacher and live with my husband and dog, Uma, in a suburb of Chicago.

I love garage sales, estate sales and thrift stores. Collect sugar and creamers, paper ephemera, and dollhouse miniatures.

I love to slow stitch and make junk journals. I upcycle as much as I can. Also into postcrossing and pen paling.

Comment: Thank you for all the great postcards and your nice note. It has been unseasonably warm here the past week, averaging 95F days and getting all the way down to 83F at night. 'Normal' here (if there is any normal any more) is low to mid 80s days and low 70s at night. Our weather is tempered some by the ocean on three sides of us. Good luck with your A/C. I don't know what I would do without mine.
